Student Mission Trip (Costa Rica)

When: June 16-22
Cost: $1,400*
Who: completed 9th-college
Where: Liberia, Costa Rica (our lodging will be closer to the coast)

We will be partnering with a church that Gateway supports and going to the same area where our student ministry has served before. Three of the days we will go around to three different partner churches, one church a day, to lead a Mega Camp or Backyard Bible Club type experience for children. Our time with the children will consist of Bible stories, crafts, recreation and snacks all lead by our students. There will also be a time for us to pray for each community and possibly go out and do evangelism. One of the days we will be helping one of the partner churches by painting/cleaning up their campus. The last day we will go on an excursion where students can do all of the following… zip line, horseback riding, hot springs, mud bath, water slide and more. Every student that goes will  attend missions training where we will prepare for leading the actives with the children, as well as walking through how to share your testimony.  Costa Rica is one of the safer places to go internationally and is a great option for a student’s first mission trip. The trip is limited to 10 spots for students. You can fill out the form below to express your interest in going.
