We offer services at 9:00 and 10:30 each Sunday. The earlier service takes place with fewer contemporary elements

What TO Expect

We’re so glad you’ve decided to visit! Below, you’ll find a list of commonly asked questions – but if you’re wondering about something else, please don’t hesitate to reach out through our contact page, send an email or give the church office a call anytime Monday through Thursday, until 4:30PM, at (803) 732-0590.

Gateway is located at 1651 Dutch Fork Road in Ballentine, SC. Check out the map above for more info and, if you’re using a smart phone, 1-click directions!

When you first pull onto our campus, you’ll see our Worship Center to the left and our Children’s/Education Building to the right. We have parking in front of each building specifically for first time guests.  If you have any questions, look for someone with a blue Gateway name tag on and they’ll be able to point you in the right direction.

Gateway has a “Come as you are!” atmosphere. You’ll see some people dressed up and some will be dressed casually.  There are no expectations for what you wear – we just want you to be here, and be comfortable!

At Gateway, we take pride in leading fun and interactive services and classes for kids of all ages.  Our hope is to point your children to Jesus while they enjoy games and lessons designed specifically with them in mind.

On Sunday mornings, there are age-appropriate classes provided in the Children’s Building (the building on the right) for all children, birth through 5th grade.  When you enter that building, you’ll find our welcome kiosk. One of our #GatewayServe team members will greet you, help you get all checked in, and escort your child to his or her class. You can find out more about our kids ministry here…

Directly behind the Children’s Building, you’ll find our Student Building. This is where all middle and high schoolers meet.  Middle schoolers meet on Sunday mornings (new time coming soon) and high schoolers meet on Sunday nights at 6PM.  The services for our students are unique and designed to reach the appropriate age group. For more information on our student ministry, and to better understand why and how we structure our services the way we do, you can visit our student ministry page here…
