Welcome to Gateway! We love having you visit, and we hope that your experience is welcoming, practical, and encouraging. Here you’ll find useful information that will help you get to know more about Gateway.
Our mission at Gateway is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that God created every single person for a specific purpose, and we want to help you find yours!
Gateway’s earliest service provides a traditional atmosphere with a combination of classic hymns and contemporary music, simple media, and practical messages.
Gateway’s modern services provide a more casual atmosphere with modern music, contemporary media, and practical messages.
We’re so glad you’ve decided to visit! Below, you’ll find a list of commonly asked questions – but if you’re wondering about something else, please don’t hesitate to send an email or give us a call Monday through Thursday at (803) 732-0590.
How do I get there?
Gateway is located at 1651 Dutch Fork Road in Ballentine, SC. Check out the map to the left for more info.
Where do I park?
When you first pull onto our campus, you’ll see our Worship Center to the left and our Children’s Building to the right. We have parking in front of each building specifically for first time guests. Just let our parking team know it’s your first time and they’ll be able to point you in the right direction.
What should I wear?
Gateway has a “come as you are!” atmosphere. You’ll see some people dressed up and some will be dressed casually. There are no expectations for what you wear – we just want you to be comfortable!
What about my kids / students?
At Gateway we take pride in leading fun and interactive classes for kids of all ages. Our hope is to point your kids to Jesus with games and lessons designed specifically with them in mind.
On Sunday mornings, there are classes provided in the Children’s Building for all children birth through 5th grade. When you enter that building, you’ll see a welcome kiosk where someone will greet you and take your child to his or her class. You can find out more about our kids ministry here…
Directly behind the Children’s Building, you’ll find our Student Ministry Building. This is where all middle and high schoolers meet. Middle schoolers meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45AM and high schoolers meet on Sunday nights at 7PM. The services for our students are unique and designed to reach the appropriate age group. You can find out more about our student ministry here…
