From there, select the option to make a gift. You’ll then be prompted to enter the monthly amount you wish to donate. Next, choose your donation frequency. Finally, set the date you’d like your recurring gift to start. Complete the process by clicking “Continue to Give,” and your recurring gift will be successfully set up.

Gateway can accept donations of non-cash assets. Did you know that in most situations, a direct gift of stock has greater value for the donor as a tax deduction than if the donor sold the stock and gave the proceeds? The pre-tax value of a direct stock gift is also more valuable to the church. Stock gifts are a win-win for both the donor and the church. For more information and assistance with non-cash giving, please contact Joseph Daniel at josephd@gatewaybc.com

Giving statements are sent out in January for the previous tax year. If you wish to obtain a copy of your statement at any time, please contact the church office.

Cash or checks can be donated on Sundays in the offering baskets during worship or by dropping them in the giving box as you exit the Worship Center. Checks can be written and mailed to the church mailing address: Gateway Baptist Church, 1651 Dutch Fork Road, Irmo, SC 29063

Recurring Automated Gifts

Online recurring gifts are one of the best ways to practice tithing. You determine the amount, frequency, and date. Everything else is automated. Just click "recurring" whenever you complete your online gift.

Stocks, Bonds, and Other Securities

Donor-Advised Fund

A donor-advised fund is a simple, flexible, and tax-efficient way to give to your favorite charities, including your church. Donor-advised funds are one of the fastest-growing charitable giving vehicles in the United States because they are one of the easiest and most tax-efficient ways to give to charity.

IRA Qualified Charitable Donation

A QCD is a direct transfer of funds from an individual’s IRA custodian account, payable to a qualified charity. In addition to the benefits of giving to charity, a QCD excludes the amount donated from taxable income, which is unlike regular withdrawals from an IRA. For those 73 and older, QCDs can be counted toward meeting your required minimum distributions (RMDs) for the year if certain requirements are met.
