Gateway’s Student Ministry exists to make disciples. It is really that simple. We want to cultivate environments that help 6th-12th grade students follow Jesus.
We have 4 unique environments for students to get plugged in and connect!
Reach, Connect, Grow, Serve, Worship
Our youth ministry exists to REACH students, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, and to challenge them to SERVE in ministry and WORSHIP God with their lives.
Safe, Welcoming, Relational, Fun
We strive for all of our student environments to be places where students and volunteers feel safe both emotionally and spiritually.

OUR WEEKLY PROGRAMS
The programs we put into place for our youth were carefully designed in response to the latest research that suggests we can, as a church body, give our teenagers the foundation they need to build lifelong faith-habits so they stay in church even after they leave home. The research shows that the best results are achieved when teens are integrated into church-wide opportunities. This includes providing a specific environment for them to talk through their faith, and also encouraging them to step outside the confines of the youth building to attend worship and serve with the whole church body. It is our goal to help teens develop lifelong faith, and that’s why we encourage teens to attend worship service with the whole church body, attend our student sessions, and serve!
There are four environments for teens within our ministry. Each environment is specifically and strategically designed to engage teenagers and to encourage deeper relationships with peers, leaders and, most importantly, with Jesus. These environments have been structured and developed with every teenager in mind, from the first time visitor to the seasoned church kid.
