Second Act Ministry (SAM)
Senior Adults are an active and vital part of Gateway. The “second act” can be one of the most rewarding ones and we want to help senior adults connect with one another, grow in their faith, and leave a spiritual legacy. Every month, we gather together for a themed meal, fellowship, and lots of laughter. Throughout the year, we also travel to places like Narroway Theatre, the Billy Graham Library, or local restaurants. Come and join us next month for our next fellowship!
Widows Ministry
We are a ministry of encouragement, comfort, and empathy for women experiencing difficult times following the death of their husband. We reach out to widows of all ages in their time of need, providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support. Join us and rediscover the compassion, joy, and healing God can bring to your life through Christ and Christ-centered community. We have regular events, gatherings, and connecting opportunities for us to fellowship and share with each other as we do life together.
Chapel Service
Join us on the second Sunday of every month at 6PM
When we moved to our new campus in 2007, God provided a small chapel for to use for ministry. We moved this beautiful, small chapel all the way from Parr Reservoir and it has been restored to use for our monthly chapel service, weddings, funerals, prayer gatherings, and so much more.
Gateway’s Chapel Ministry is led by Pastor Chuck O’Shields and includes a monthly service at our beautiful Chapel in the Pines. On the second Sunday evening of each month, Gateway’s Chapel hosts a worship service that includes congregational hymns, special musical presentations, and Bible teaching. The Chapel is also open for special times of prayer and other church related events.
