What is Church Membership?
Church membership is often misunderstood, but an important next step if Gateway is your church home. By becoming a member, you are committing to being an active participant in the work God is doing here. And in turn, we are committing to care for you and partner with you as your church family!
We have only two simple steps for membership:
Meet with a Pastor
Meet with a pastor to affirm you have a saving faith in Christ and have declared it publicly through baptism by immersion. We want to hear your story of how you came to Christ and when you took that first step of obedience to be baptized. It might sound intimidating but we guide the conversation and you will leave encouraged! One of our pastors will meet with you, remind you of what it means to follow Jesus in faith, and hear your story.
